Getting shitcanned at Moonie Times was kinda sorta totally random - i.e. Solomon's lack of any ability other than breathtaking intellectual dishonesty had nothing to do with it. Still, if he managed to actually do something with the Times when he had the chance, then maybe they might've thought about keeping him aboard.
So, out after something like a quarter of his contract still looks ugly on the resume. But since it's Villager news, I'm guessing he winds up at Politico. Either that or teh Kristol Standard.
Maybe Solomon can get a job at teh WaPoop again.
